During the week of October 29, we will have an online Bible study on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. We will continue our analysis of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount from the Gospel of Matthew. On Wednesday, for the Feast of All Saints, I invite you on a pilgrimage to the Church of All Saints at Prague Castle. The main celebrant will be Archbishop Jan Graubner. On Thursday, for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, there will be a mass at the Church of the Holy Family (reconstruction work is ongoing in the cemetery chapel), followed by a service at 7 PM at the sisters' cemetery. From November 1 to 8, it is possible to gain plenary indulgences for the souls in purgatory, if someone visits the cemetery and prays there in spirit for the deceased, after fulfilling the usual three conditions (being to confession, receiving Holy Communion, praying for the intention of the Holy Father). Next Sunday, we will host Archbishop Jan Graubner at the mass at the Church of the Holy Family. After the mass, there will be parish coffee in the dining room of the home. I kindly ask for help moving tables in the dining room on Saturday after mass, and then on Sunday after the parish coffee, as well as for bringing refreshments. Thank you in advance.
During the week of November 5, there will be a meeting over the Scriptures and topics on Monday at 7 PM at the Club. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM, there will be an online catechism class. On Thursday at 7 PM, there will be a meeting of the parish pastoral council at the Club. On Saturday, we will celebrate the patron saint of our parish, St. Martin. The St. Martin's procession begins at 5 PM at the Church of the Holy Family, followed by a program at St. Martin's Church and a solemn mass at St. Martin's Church at 6:30 PM. There will be no regular mass at the Church of the Holy Family. Next Sunday, there will be a children's mass at 9:00 AM.
During the week of November 12, there will be an online Bible study on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. Next week there will be a collection to support Catholic media. The collection will take place in the form of slips that are in the back of the church. They also include a QR code for payment. I would like to draw your attention to the Advent spiritual renewal of the parish, which will take place on Saturday, December 2, at the Strahov Monastery. During the week of November 19, there will be no online catechism class this Tuesday. Next Sunday, Timea Anna Bergelová will be baptized at St. Martin's Church. During the week of November 26, there will be a meeting for altar servers at the Church of the Holy Family on Monday at 5 PM. On Tuesday at 7:30 PM, there will be a prayer with Taizé songs at the Church of the Holy Family. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM, there will be an online Bible study. Friday is the first of the month; there will be adoration at the Church of the Holy Family at 5 PM. Next Saturday at 9 AM, there will be a spiritual renewal of the parish at the monastery in Strahov. Details are on the poster attached to this article. Please register here. During the Advent period, we offer a spiritual program of prayers for the residents of Řepy streets. The idea is that interested individuals will draw a street for which they will pray every day during Advent. Cards with streets can be picked up in the sacristy... Advent wreaths will be blessed next Sunday at the beginning of the mass. Please place your wreath in front of the altar. Next Sunday, there will be a children's mass. Next Sunday, there will be parish coffee after the mass. Again, I kindly ask for bringing refreshments. Thank you in advance.
Collections
The collection on Sunday, November 5, is designated for charitable work in the archdiocese.
The collection of the mass on December 3 will support the salaries of priests. From January, support will function through the Donátor application, which you can already become familiar with at this link.
Invitation to participate
I would like to draw your attention to the community established by Archbishop Graubner called the Eucharistic Hour. The purpose is to support the adoration of the Eucharist in parishes and thus support the spiritual renewal of our church. More information is available here.
