The children who have been preparing will take another significant step on their journey to Christian maturity and will receive the Eucharist for the first time. Let us accompany them with our prayers.
During the week of June 4 we have the following events: On Monday at 18:45, Petra Floriánová will be baptized at St. Martin's Church. On Tuesday, you are all warmly invited to the feast of St. Norbert at Strahov. The Holy Mass with Archbishop Jan Graubner will be at 18:00. The spiritual program of the feast is on the flyer attached. There will be no online catechism class this week. Thursday is the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. All parishes in Prague are invited to participate in the Holy Mass at the cathedral at 17:00. For this reason, there will be no Holy Mass in our parish on Thursday, and this feast will be celebrated in our parish on Sunday. On Friday, children will receive the sacrament of reconciliation for the first time. Before the Holy Mass, we will rehearse the Holy Mass for Sunday with the children. There will be space for the sacrament of reconciliation after the Holy Mass. On Sunday, there will be a short adoration at the end of the Holy Mass, and at the Holy Mass at 9:00, the children will receive the Eucharist for the first time. After the Holy Mass, there will be parish coffee. Please bring refreshments. Thank you in advance. I thank everyone who contributed to the organization of this year's Night of Churches, especially the Babinský choir, but also the organists and all involved.
During the week of June 11 we have: on Tuesday after the Holy Mass at 18:45, there will be a meeting of the parish economic council in the sacristy of St. Martin's Church. For this reason, there will be no online Bible class this week. On Thursday from 19:00, there will be a pastoral council meeting in the club. Next Sunday, Alois Ignác Juriga will be baptized during the Holy Mass at 9:00.
During the week of June 18, there will be an online catechism class on Tuesday at 20:30. On Saturday at 10:00, there will be a farewell with a Holy Mass for Mrs. Ludmila Rompoltová at St. Family Church. On Saturday, there will be an evening Holy Mass for the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, and there will be no Vespers during it. By attending this Mass, you will fulfill your Sunday obligation to attend Holy Mass. Next Saturday at 17:00, Pavel Šimek will be baptized at St. Martin's Church, and next Sunday during the Holy Mass at 9:00, Matyáš Juhás will be baptized. The collection next Sunday is for supporting seminarians.
During the week of June 25, there will be a Taizé prayer at St. Family Church on Tuesday at 19:30. Then at 20:30, you can participate in the online Bible class, where we will finish the reading of the 2nd Letter of Peter. We invite you to Strahov for an open-air concert called the first Strahov Nocturne. The program includes popular compositions by classical music authors, more information is on the flyers on the notice boards and in the attachment of this article.
During the holidays, there will be no Tuesday Holy Masses, Friday rosary prayers, and Monday prayer community at St. Family.
In the church vestibules, there are already forms available for registering children for religious education for the next year. Also, a question for parents on whether they would be interested in some program during the word service for small children.

We are looking for a willing volunteer to take charge of religious education. If they do not have the necessary education, we will provide the required course.
