News December 26, 2020

Dear brothers and sisters, since Sunday, December 27, the government has announced the transition of the PES to level 5, which means the most significant restrictions. However, even under these conditions, worship services are possible, but in a significantly limited format. Specifically, services can be held with 10% capacity of seated participants, there is no congregational singing, only one singer may sing. So what does this mean for us?

  • The maximum number of participants in the Church of the Holy Family is 17 people, and the reservation forms are set for this capacity.
  • It is necessary to make a reservation for each mass (since the number of 17 people may be exceeded even on weekdays), after the Holy Mass, I will remain in the Church of the Holy Family available for administering the Eucharist and the sacrament of reconciliation, on Sundays until 10:30, on weekdays until 19:00.
  • The sacrament of reconciliation can also be received before the Holy Mass, as usual.
  • During the Holy Mass, only one singer will sing; otherwise, we will recite everything.

Please help with reservations for those who are unable to manage it themselves (e.g., elderly people), and also please allow for rotation during the Holy Mass for those who haven't had a chance to attend before: if you come one day, the next day with a reservation, please wait until a moment when there are free spots.

We are not yet streaming on YouTube, but we will strive to enable broadcasts from the Church of the Holy Family in the near future. On New Year's Eve, the Holy Mass is at 5 PM with a service of thanksgiving for the past year, on Friday January 1st, there are Holy Masses at 9:00 and 10:30, both in the Church of the Holy Family.

I wish you all the best in the new year 2021!
