News on January 2, 2021

Dear brothers and sisters, we are experiencing the Christmas season, and next week we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. First, I would like to thank you for your cooperation in scheduling the services, because at the current level of the PES system, it is possible to use 17 places in the Church of the Holy Family, and only 4 places in the Church of St. Martin. We have chosen the path of an online form, which prevents someone from arriving at the Holy Mass only to find out that there is no longer a free seat for them. Now it is necessary to reserve a seat for each Holy Mass (on Sundays and weekdays). I would also like to ask that you only enter one name in the reservation form for the Holy Mass to avoid exceeding the allowed number of attendees. It still holds that after the Holy Mass, I remain in the church to provide holy communion for those who could not attend the Holy Mass that day. We have ahead of us:

  • Sunday is the 2nd after the Nativity of the Lord, Holy Mass as a regular Sunday in the Church of the Holy Family
  • On Tuesday there will be a Holy Mass in the Church of St. Martin (where the tabernacle is, Holy Mass must be celebrated at least once every 14 days), here the church's capacity under current conditions is only 4 people
  • On Wednesday, the Feast of the Epiphany will be celebrated. During the Holy Mass, water, incense, and chalk will be blessed. After the Holy Mass, you can take them home and mark your dwelling.
  • Next Sunday is the last day of the Christmas season, the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord

Throughout the jubilee year, commemorating the founding of the Order of Premonstratensians, it is possible to obtain plenary indulgences in our parishes' churches.

I wish you all the best in the new year 2021!
