The beginning of June is associated with the novena before the Feast of the Pentecost. We will pray it together according to Fr. Vojtěch Kodet, which is published on his website.
In the week of June 1st, we have a parish picnic on Sunday at 3 PM in the garden of the St. Charles Home. You are all warmly invited! On Tuesday at 7:30 PM there will be a prayer with songs from Taizé at the Church of the Holy Family. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM there will be an online catechism class. On Thursday at 7:00 PM there will be a meeting over Scripture and topic at the Club. On Friday there will be no Mass at the Church of the Holy Family; I invite you to the festive Mass at Strahov. On Saturday, there will be the vigil Mass of the Meeting of the Holy Spirit starting at 8 PM.
From June 6th to 8th there will be adoration days at the Strahov basilica. The opportunity for Eucharistic adoration will be in the chapel of St. Norbert from 1:30 PM to 4:45 PM, and the entrance to this chapel will be open.
In the week of June 8th, there will be an online Bible class on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. On Thursday at 7:00 PM, the pastoral council of the parish will meet at the Club. On Saturday at 12:00 PM, Adam Kováč will be baptized at the Church of St. Martin. On Saturday, June 14th, we invite you to a walking pilgrimage to Hájek. We will leave from the Church of the Holy Family at 8:30 AM. The Mass in Hájek will then take place at 11 AM. The children's version of the pilgrimage starts at 8:30 AM in Hostivice at Husova Square at the playground near the cake shop.
In the week of June 15th, there will be an online catechism class on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. On Thursday, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, there will be no Mass in the parish. We are invited to a joint celebration in the cathedral, where the Mass begins at 5 PM. Next Sunday, June 22nd, Mr. Ing. Vojtěch Benda will visit us and introduce us in approximately 20-30 minute lecture to the Donátor application, which some of you are already involved in, as well as the economic projects of the archdiocese. Then there will be space for your questions. I warmly invite you to this meeting, which will take place after the Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Family.
