The beginning of June is associated with the novena before the feast of Pentecost. We will pray it together according to Fr. Vojtěch Kodet, which is published on his website.
In the week of June 1, we will have a parish picnic on Sunday at 3 PM in the garden of the St. Charles Home. You are all warmly invited! On Tuesday at 7:30 PM there will be prayer with songs from Taizé at the Church of the Holy Family. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM there will be an online catechism class. On Thursday at 7 PM there will be a meeting over the Scripture and theme at the Club. On Friday there will be no Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, I invite you to a festive Mass at Strahov. On Saturday, there will be the vigil Mass for the Pentecost, starting at 8 PM.
From June 6 to 8, there will be adoration days in the Strahov Basilica. The opportunity for Eucharistic adoration will be in the chapel of St. Norbert from 1:30 PM to 4:45 PM; the entrance directly to this chapel will be open.
In the week of June 8, there will be an online Bible class on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. On Thursday at 7 PM, the pastoral council of the parish will meet at the Club. On Saturday at 12 PM, Adam Kováč will be baptized at the Church of St. Martin. On Saturday, June 14, we invite you to a walking pilgrimage to Hájek. We will depart from the Church of the Holy Family at 8:30 AM. The Mass in Hájek is at 11 AM. The children's version of the pilgrimage begins at 8:30 AM in Hostivice at Hus Square at the playground by the pastry shop.
In the week of June 15, there will be an online catechism class on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. On Thursday, for the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, there will be no Mass in the parish. We are invited to a joint celebration at the cathedral, where the Mass starts at 5 PM. Next Sunday, June 22, Mr. Ing. Vojtěch Benda will visit us and introduce us to the application Donátor, which some of you are already involved in, as well as the economic projects of the archdiocese. There will then be space for your questions. I warmly invite you to this meeting, which will take place after the Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Family.
In the week of June 22, we will have Mr. Ing. Vojtěch Benda visiting us after the Sunday Mass, who will introduce us to the application Donátor in a talk lasting about 20-30 minutes, which some of you are already involved in, as well as the economic projects of the archdiocese. On Tuesday at 1 PM, there will be a farewell in the Church of the Holy Family for the late Mr. Pavel Janeček. On Tuesday at 7:30 PM, you are invited to the Church of the Holy Family for prayer with songs from Taizé. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM, there will be an online Bible class continuing in the reading of the Letter of James. The collection next Sunday is designated for the support of seminarians.
